Our Pezante Table Lamp designed by Loft & Thought was inspired by the matriarchal figure in Julie Dash's "Daughters of the Dust". The Pezante lamp is a vision of regal, coastal elegance. Elements of the novel are translated into design features, with the ceramic urn-shaped base inspired by white dresses and the bleached Abaca shade recalling straw hats.
