We absolutely love this time of year and if you are anything like us, you have already started daydreaming and planning for the upcoming holiday entertaining season. The next two months are centered around all of our faves - food, cocktails and decorating. Today we are on the hunt for unique tablescape ideas for our Thanksgiving table and wanted to share the ones topping our list. Macrame and Succulents Justina Blakeney of The Jungalow outdid herself with this festive tabletop. First, the shades of orange mixed with the dusty blue-green are total eye candy, and all the textures have us a little weak in the knees. Then she added layers of macrame, pottery and succulents for even more visual interest. We especially love the use of the Turkish hand towel as a folded napkin. This table setting just feels like friends from all over the world coming together over a yummy meal. Purple Heather This tablescape stopped us in our tracks. The color combination of purples, greens and pops of white is absolutely gorgeous and the usage of potted heather is so creative. The laid-back feel of this table has us wanting to linger after dinner with a glass of rose. Harvest Decorating doesn't get any better than Mother Nature's seasonal bounty. We love the creative mix of succulents, eggplant, pumpkins, radishes and kale mounded in a big basket. The addition of linen napkins and touches of metal accents elevate the natural beauty of this table setting. Citrus Brunch One of our favorite traditions is kicking off the season by hosting a Gift Swap Brunch and this tabletop would be perfect for such an occasion. All the vibrant colors mixed with the indigo table cloth and block printed napkins has us wanting to recreate this casual look.
